Process Safety Engineer

Salary: AED 18,000

Location: Abu Dhabi

• Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineer with more than 8 years in Oil & Gas industry at engineer level.
• Should be familiar with P&ID, Control philosophy and Control Narrative (Mandatory)
• Design experience at various stages of project lifecycle such as FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction Engineering, Commissioning & Pre commissioning
• Profound familiarity with ADOC group standards
• Previous experience as a Lead Engineer in a project or department
• Excellent understanding of Process Safety
• Good understanding of Environmental Safety & Occupational Safety
• Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis
• Preference will be given to candidates approved by regulatory bodies or OPCOs
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilities
• Conduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Review engineering designs and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in the UAE
• Strong understanding of relevant UAE and international HSE regulations (e.g., ADNC, API)
• Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills
• Proficiency in HSE software applications
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems
