Description:
Tandem Care is seeking a highly organized and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to support its remote home care operations team. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring smooth coordination between clients, caregivers, and internal teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily schedules, handling urgent care requests, coordinating caregiver availability, and maintaining accurate operational records. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment where every day brings new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and adjust caregiver schedules throughout daily operations.
• Process same-day schedule changes and new care requests efficiently.
• Respond to caregiver and client communications through phone calls, texts, and messaging platforms.
• Manage caregiver call-outs and arrange replacement coverage when needed.
• Monitor caregiver arrivals and visit check-ins to ensure service reliability.
• Support Targeted Care and On Demand service operations.
• Provide backup support to the Scheduling Manager during absences.
• Update payroll time records based on verified visit information.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in home care scheduling, healthcare operations, staffing, dispatch, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating schedules and managing time-sensitive operational issues.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent phone communication abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple urgent tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote team.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to multiple software platforms.
• Previous remote work experience is a plus.
• Experience with CRM and scheduling software is preferred.
