Description:

OneDigital is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing, compliance activities, and employee compensation-related operations. This remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with payroll experience who can manage confidential information, resolve payroll issues, and ensure accurate processing.

The selected candidate will work with Workday Payroll systems, assist with tax compliance, benefits reconciliation, reporting, and payroll year-end activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with payroll processing for employees paid on biweekly and monthly schedules using Workday Payroll.

• Maintain and update payroll records after management approval.

• Serve as a primary contact for payroll-related questions and resolve employee payment issues.

• Perform payroll and benefits-related data entry tasks.

• Follow up on withholding orders and government correspondence.

• Prepare payroll reports and documentation for Finance, HR, and authorized stakeholders.

• Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Coordinate with third-party payroll partners when required.

• Support additional payroll responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related business field.

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience preferred.

• Experience in PEO, HCM, or related industries required for remote consideration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Workday Payroll software is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
