We are currently hiring for the position of Occupational Therapy Assistant on behalf of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), a leading healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized therapy programs for patients
• Support patients during rehabilitation sessions, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Help patients improve mobility, coordination, and daily living skills through guided activities
• Prepare therapy equipment and maintain treatment areas according to healthcare standards
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a hospital or rehabilitation facility
• Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong understanding of therapy techniques and patient rehabilitation processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
