Description:
A Business Aviation organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Officer – OCC to join its Operations Control Center. This role is ideal for an aviation professional with extensive experience coordinating worldwide business aviation flights, ensuring smooth operations from the initial flight request through planning, execution, and post-flight follow-up.
The successful candidate will oversee operational planning, flight monitoring, crew coordination, and regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate operational records. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct feasibility assessments covering airports, routing, permits, slots, PPR, ground handling, fuel, parking, FTL, and aircraft performance.
• Prepare flight plans and coordinate all required ground services and operational permits.
• Monitor active flights, provide crew support, and communicate real-time operational updates.
• Verify crew documentation, ensure FTL and duty compliance, and arrange hotels, transportation, and travel tickets.
• Maintain accurate records within LEON, ForeFlight, and other operational systems.
• Manage operational delays, disruptions, and urgent flight requests efficiently and professionally.
Requirements:
• Must be based in Dubai with a valid Emirates ID.
• 3+ years of proven experience in business aviation operations.
• Valid Flight Dispatcher License/Certificate issued by an ICAO State (Mandatory).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with crew, clients, management, and service providers.
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail and minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexible to work morning, afternoon, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Worldwide flight operations, including ETOPS and NAT HLA across the Middle East, North America, Africa, and Asia.
• LEON and ForeFlight.
• Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and operational control procedures.
