Description:
Openminds Center, a leading mental health and neuroscience institution in the UAE, is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Accountant to join its leadership team. This role plays a key part in supporting the organization’s financial health while contributing to operational efficiency and long-term strategic growth.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial systems, improving processes, and ensuring compliance within a healthcare-focused environment. This position requires someone who is innovative, detail-oriented, and capable of enhancing financial transparency and sustainability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily financial operations within a multidisciplinary mental health center
• Manage corporate accounting functions in compliance with UAE regulations and international standards
• Handle VAT filing processes with accuracy and timely submissions
• Conduct insurance reconciliation and integrate results into clinician payroll systems
• Develop and implement budgeting strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives
• Maintain strong cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability
• Design and improve clinician compensation models based on performance and profitability
• Prepare and maintain bookkeeping records, profit and loss statements, and audit reports
• Utilize advanced Excel, TALLY, and financial reporting tools for data analysis and visualization
• Perform ROI analysis for clinical services and strategic business initiatives
Requirements:
• CA / CMA / ACCA qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 2+ years of UAE accounting experience
• Immediate availability preferred
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and healthcare operations
• Proficiency in Excel, TALLY, and financial management systems
• Experience in VAT compliance and insurance reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and bookkeeping systems
• Budgeting and cost control strategies
• Audit preparation and compliance procedures
• Payroll structuring and compensation models
• ROI analysis and financial performance evaluation
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills
