Hiring Accountant

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Zoho Books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle VAT and Corporate Tax filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning.
• Manage project costing and vendor payments.
• Liaise with auditors and relevant government authorities as needed.
• Track and analyze financial performance across ongoing construction and landscaping projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of UAE experience in a construction or landscaping company.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently under tight deadlines.
