Key Responsibilities
- Month-End Closing
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Complete comprehensive Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget compliance.
Treasury Management
- Prepare and analyze cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage the company’s cash flow effectively.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Perform financial analysis to assess operational performance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Participate in strategic planning by providing financial insights.
- Offer data-driven recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
Taxes & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local tax regulations.
- Prepare and file VAT returns from data collection through to final submission.
Audit Support
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing external audit packs and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry is a distinct advantage.
- Proficient in financial reporting, analysis, and UAE tax regulations.
