Description:
A leading fashion brand is looking for a creative and commercially minded Fashion Designer – Menswear to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a designer with a passion for menswear, strong trend awareness, and the ability to transform innovative ideas into successful commercial collections.
The successful candidate will be involved throughout the entire design process, from concept development and technical design to production support. Working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments, you will help deliver high-quality collections that align with the brand’s vision and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research fashion trends, fabrics, colours, silhouettes, and market developments.
• Create original design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and collection presentations.
• Design menswear products including T-shirts, shirts, trousers, shorts, outerwear, and accessories.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, colourways, and fabric selections.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers during sampling and production.
• Review garment samples and provide detailed feedback on fit, construction, fabric, colour, and finishing.
• Attend fittings and implement design revisions where required.
• Ensure all products maintain the brand’s identity, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Production, and Retail teams throughout collection development.
• Manage project timelines to support the successful and timely launch of collections.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably within menswear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, sizing, and fit.
• Excellent technical drawing and supplier communication skills.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and awareness of current fashion trends.
• Good organisational, planning, and time management skills.
• A professional portfolio showcasing relevant fashion design projects.
