Technician – Digital Delivery (Civil -3D)

Job Summary:

• Experience in roads and utilities. Performs both routine and non-routine, complex modeling and drafting assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
• Decisions made with a general understanding of procedures (i.e. BIM Procedures) and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. , inclusive of Model authoring using BIM tools (Civil 3D) and extracting drawings and quantities from BIM models, and performing Clash Detections and Visual Walkthroughs (CDVW) in Navisworks
• Expert in Roads and UAE standards.
• Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems, determining operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and understanding and guides for diverse design and BIM activities.
• The position requires progressive experience. Functions as a group leader, usually with subordinates, coordinating activities of one or more CADD. BIM staff across multiple projects.
• Identifies software and equipment needed to supplement gaps in productivity and service capability.
• Assists junior staff with technical training.
• Supervises and coordinates assignments of the designer team.
• Can support proposal activities by advising on project/task feasibility, resources, and costing.
• Monitors quality control, progress, scheduling, and execution of product delivery to internal/external clients.
• Works under the general guidance of the Sr. Manager.
• Understanding of BIM Standard and workflow.
• Use of Common Data Environment for information exchange.
• Understanding and Implementing BIM workflow, budgeting, and – – BIM execution planning and its standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Diploma in Civil Engineering
