Job Description:

As a Senior Design Manager at NSR Associates, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and technical aspects of Mega Watt Facilities and Data Centers. Reporting directly to the Regional Design Manager, you will lead a team responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction, including CSA, MEP, and specialist sub-contract packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Coordination: Lead and manage the design and technical team on site, ensuring all design aspects align with client requirements, technical specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Project Leadership: Take charge of coordinating CSA, MEP, and specialist sub-contract packages. Manage CAD, Draughts team, Shop drawings, RFI’s, material submissions, NOC’s, and design management/coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, consultants, and the supply chain to ensure project goals are met. Manage change effectively, including value engineering and client-driven modifications.
• Program Management: Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget constraints. Swiftly address and document changes to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in managing the design and construction of Data Centers, preferably with Mega Watt Facilities for leading tech/software clients.
• Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear and efficient communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines effectively.
• Must have experience with the unique policies and procedures involved in Data Center projects.

Working Conditions:

• Site-based role located approximately 40 minutes’ drive from Dubai Marina & Yas Island.
• Work schedule includes an 11-day fortnight: a 6-day work week followed by a 5-day work week with corresponding weekends.

Salary and Benefits:

• Monthly salary ranging from AED 48,000 to 60,000, inclusive of fixed allowances.
• Additional benefits include flights and medical coverage.
• Immediate employment start preferred before October 1st, 2024.
