Urgent Hiring Safety Officer for Projects in Abu Dhabi

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our construction teams for immediate deployment in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or its equivalent of any 4 years bachelor’s degree.
• Have IOSH, NEPOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Risk Assessment courses and certificates.
• 3 years of relevant UAE experience working in the construction industry preferred.
• English, Arabic, Hindi are preferable.
• MS office knowledge

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies in accordance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards, develop corrective actions, and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to maintain safe working practices and ensure HSE compliance.
• Provide safety training and education to all employees, ensuring they are competent and have necessary certifications.
• Monitor and report safety compliance, incidents, and near-misses; participate in investigations and recommend preventive measures.
• Prepare and review HSE documentation, including risk assessments, action plans, and subcontractor prequalification.
• Communicate safety alerts, updates, and policies across sites, verifying adherence during site observations.
• Facilitate internal and external HSE training, awareness programs, and knowledge transfer.
• Plan and conduct HSE audits, client and operations meetings, and ensure continual improvement in safety standards.
• Manage HSE systems, statutory notices, and legal compliance, including site mobilization due diligence.
• Schedule work safety certifications, inductions, and manage HSE interfaces with clients.
