Description:
Dubai London Hospital Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Midwife to join its maternity care team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the wellbeing of mothers and newborns by providing comprehensive maternity services in accordance with clinical best practices and hospital standards. The role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based maternal and neonatal care.
Working alongside obstetricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, the Registered Midwife will contribute to delivering safe, high-quality maternity services while supporting families throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout pregnancy and childbirth
• Support and assist with normal deliveries while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, clinical protocols, and healthcare standards
Requirements:
• DHA Eligibility Letter or DHA License as a Registered Midwife is mandatory
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Midwifery or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in maternity, labor and delivery, and postnatal care within a hospital environment preferred
• Strong commitment to evidence-based maternal and neonatal healthcare practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Patient-focused approach with a commitment to delivering compassionate care
• Strong knowledge of:
• Antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
• Maternal and fetal monitoring
• Breastfeeding support and newborn care
• Clinical documentation and healthcare regulations
