Description:
Trolley is looking for a qualified GL Finance Accountant to join its Finance Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with strong general ledger accounting experience and a solid background in the Retail or FMCG industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and a valid SOCPA registration are essential requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts accurately.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting activities as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Previous professional experience in the Retail or FMCG industry is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience using SAP S/4HANA is mandatory.
• Valid SOCPA registration is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Saudi candidates are preferred.
