Description:
Capital Catering is seeking a qualified and proactive QHSE Officer to join its team. This role is suited for professionals with a strong understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems who are committed to maintaining safe and compliant workplace operations.
The successful candidate will support facility management operations by implementing QHSE standards, conducting inspections and audits, delivering safety training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates with relevant certifications and experience in facility management are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain QHSE systems in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify workplace hazards, and implement effective control measures.
• Perform inspections and audits while ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor contractor safety and support permit-to-work system compliance.
• Deliver QHSE inductions, training sessions, and safety awareness programs.
• Assist with emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and evacuation exercises.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain QHSE compliance.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Facility Management or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree (3–4 years) or higher in Science, Safety, or a related technical field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (Essential).
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications are highly desirable.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• ADOSH-SF, UAE Fire Code, and QHSE regulatory requirements.
• Risk assessment, hazard identification, and control measures.
• Facility management operations, contractor safety, and permit-to-work systems.
