Sawaed is currently seeking a qualified HSE Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for safety professionals who are passionate about maintaining safe working environments and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate should possess the required educational background along with relevant professional certifications and be ready to join immediately. Applicants with the necessary Saudi professional accreditation will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance across operations.
• Conduct safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Prepare safety reports, maintain documentation, and support safety awareness initiatives.
• Promote a strong safety culture through regular training and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering.
• Preferred certification in EOSHA, OSHA, or NEBOSH.
• Kawader accreditation or membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers is required.
• Immediate availability to join.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Occupational Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
• Risk assessment, incident investigation, and hazard identification.
• Safety compliance, reporting, and emergency response procedures.
