Description:
Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Poster to join its growing remote team. As the nation’s largest pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization specializing in dental restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients, the company is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and accessible healthcare services.
The Payment Poster will play a vital role in supporting the revenue cycle by accurately posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling deposits, and ensuring financial records are maintained with precision. Key Responsibilities:
• Enter insurance and patient payments accurately for all business lines within 48 hours of the deposit date.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment reconciliation.
• Post payments and refunds based on Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents and bank deposit reconciliations.
• Verify payment accuracy and maintain complete financial records.
• Identify discrepancies and process improvements to reduce future payment posting errors.
• Report payment posting or reconciliation issues to the Manager or Director in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and revenue cycle standards.
• Support efficient financial operations through accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
Requirements:
• Experience in payment posting, medical billing, healthcare revenue cycle, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately reconcile payments and financial transactions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling financial information responsibly.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Payment posting, reconciliation, and refund processing.
• Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), insurance payments, and bank deposit reconciliation.
• Medical billing systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
