Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization’s financial reporting and compliance activities.
This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations in the UAE, and hands-on experience in financial documentation and reconciliation processes. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate accounting records and all financial transactions
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, and reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger balancing
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting processes
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentation
• Ensure proper organization and filing of financial records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and accounting procedures
• VAT filing and UAE tax compliance
• Bank reconciliation and ledger management
