Description:
Astromin Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its growing team in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals who possess strong accounting knowledge and are capable of managing financial records, reporting processes, and compliance requirements with accuracy and professionalism.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business operations, and assisting management with financial analysis and reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates with experience in logistics, shipping, or import/export industries will have an added advantage and will be well-positioned to contribute to the organization’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in budgeting processes, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.
• Monitor financial performance and identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing budgets, cash flow statements, and management reports.
• Good knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements, preferably within the UAE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience in logistics, shipping, or import/export industries will be considered an advantage.
