Description:
Grand Falcon is currently seeking a qualified Accountant to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals who possess a strong understanding of accounting practices, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations within a corporate environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, managing payables and receivables, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Candidates with professional certifications such as CMA will have an added advantage.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while managing multiple accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor financial data and help improve accounting procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CMA qualification will be considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work accurately with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and account reconciliation
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• MS Excel and accounting software applications
