Description:
AFPC UAE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior / Assistant Accountant to join its Finance Team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are eager to build their accounting career while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting. Experience in FMCG, trading, or inventory accounting will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and process day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities.
• Prepare and reconcile customer Statements of Account (SOA).
• Perform inventory, stock, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, and suppliers on accounting-related matters.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in FMCG, trading, or inventory accounting will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• General ledger, inventory, and account reconciliations
• Financial reporting, MS Excel, and accounting documentation
