Job Description
We are looking for an Archivist Assistant to join our fun and vibrant team to work on assisting the editor for Electric Films. The Archivist needs to be keen, meticulous, and cautious in archiving the footage.
No editing experience is necessary but would be helpful. The most important thing is to be able to handle meticulously in storing data and equipment arrangement. We value personal development and growth at Electric Films, so there is room for the role to develop.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Backup camera cards and hard drives
- Archive footage
- Keep records of where footage is and sizes
- Assist in basic edit prep (syncing of footage, creating sequences, etc)
- In the future help with transferring HD data to cloud servers
- Assist equipment arrangement and storage.
