Description:
Pet Corner Trading LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai Investment Park. The successful candidate will oversee accounting activities across a group of companies while supporting the organization’s transition toward an AI-powered finance function.
This role is ideal for accounting professionals with strong ERP experience, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of UAE financial regulations. The position involves managing financial records, reconciliations, reporting, tax compliance, and collaborating with operational teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting activities across multiple companies, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform e-commerce reconciliations for websites, delivery platforms, and payment gateways.
• Utilize Claude AI to support reconciliations, journal entries, month-end closing, reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and audit requirements.
• Work closely with operations and management to support financial decision-making.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, including Accounting, Inventory, Sales, and Purchase modules.
• Experience managing accounting for a group of companies, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Knowledge of e-commerce reconciliation for websites, delivery applications, and payment gateways.
• Practical experience using Claude AI for finance-related tasks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and audit support.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Odoo ERP (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, and Purchase).
• General Ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and Claude AI.
