Job Title: Accounting Manager

Nationality: all nationalities

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a financial strategy in line with the strategic objectives of RAK Real Estate
• Develop and implement best practice, policies, and procedures in accordance with international standards to ensure business finances are managed in a risk averse and controlled manner
• Work closely with Leasing & Maintenance departments to ensure financial targets are met
• Develop and monitor departmental policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and guidelines
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the company
• Assess financial risks of business operations and ensures appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risks
• Ensures sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs and increased revenues and improved profitability
• Prepare financial statements and management reports to reflect asset performance against targets
• Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process ensuring that all departments operate within budget and report on any variances
• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions
• including accounts receivable and payable, cash flow management, execution of payroll, banking arrangements and variance analysis.
• Build and manage relationships with relevant banking institutions
• Coach and manage the performance of the team in line with good people management practices
