Description:
Emtech is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join its growing technical team in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is ideal for networking professionals with strong expertise in enterprise networking, routing and switching, firewalls, and network security who are ready to take on challenging infrastructure projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise network environments, resolving technical issues, and delivering reliable onsite and remote support. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN and WAN network environments.
• Manage and support Cisco, Aruba, and Alcatel switches.
• Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and security policies.
• Work with VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, and Link Aggregation technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, packet loss, latency, internet, VPN, firewall, and network performance issues.
• Handle customer incidents independently and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Perform firmware upgrades, maintain configuration backups, conduct network health checks, and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Support network implementation, migration, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and OEM support teams for technical escalations.
• Maintain network documentation and prepare incident and root cause analysis (RCA) reports.
• Provide both onsite and remote technical support to customers.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant networking experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer communication and technical documentation skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
