We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting Team and support the Company through its next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong command of financial reporting, taxation, and team leadership—particularly within the UAE regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for our clients (client base ranging from small to large corporate)
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent performance across the finance team.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth audits, inspections, and reporting compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee the preparation and timely submission of Corporate Tax returns, ensuring full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax Law and relevant FTA guidelines.
• Monitor and review VAT filings, supporting accurate computations, proper documentation, and adherence to UAE VAT regulations.
• Stay current with changes in local tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring the company remains compliant and informed.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, financial models, scenario analysis) for reporting and decision support.
• Administer and optimize the use of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, including data integrity, reporting automation, and staff training.
• Ensure high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity in financial data and reporting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE taxation, including Corporate Tax, VAT, and local regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven expertise in IFRS and corporate financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and practical experience with QuickBooks or equivalent ERP/accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with strong communication and organizational skills.
