Job Description:
ARC Global is looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of accounting experience within the UAE, with a strong understanding of local accounting principles, the Wages Protection System (WPS), and proficiency in using Tally accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other relevant tax laws.
- Process payroll using the WPS system and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expenses management.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Provide financial analysis and budgeting support to management.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the UAE Wages Protection System (WPS).
- Proficiency in using Tally or similar accounting software.
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and other local accounting regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English/Hindi.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
