Description:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our frozen and chilled products manufacturing company’s warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stock movement, from the purchase of raw materials to the dispatch of finished products. This is a critical role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor (Frozen and Chilled Products Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth stock movement and timely dispatch of finished products.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and production departments to forecast inventory requirements and plan accordingly.
  • Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of raw materials, ensuring accurate documentation and proper stock rotation.
  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures to optimize space utilization, minimize stock variances, and prevent product expiration or spoilage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule shipments and track deliveries, ensuring on-time dispatch and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and food safety standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the warehouse operations.
