Drawlines Consult is seeking Sr. Civil Design Engineer (Water) for UAE

• Prepare concept, preliminary and detailed designs for wet infrastructure
• Review, organize and analyze collected data
• Carry out hydraulic modeling using recognized modeling software
• Perform design calculations
• Develop Specifications, bill of quantities, cost estimates, design reports, briefs & Basis of Design technical notes, oversee design drawings
• Organize, attend meetings with clients to collect data, discuss technical solutions, options
• Experienced with local and international guidelines/standards/codes and technical specifications for the design of wet infrastructure
• Ability to work on bids to develop technical methodology and estimation of level of effort and identification of resources
• Capable to analyze, assess, evaluate issues, complexities pertaining to projects/work packages, support the team in mitigating them in advance
• Experienced with wet infrastructure design standards in GCC Countries or Europe, North America (preferred)
• Arabic language skills (preferred), excellent command in English (written spoken)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university
• 10+ years of experience in master planning, design of large scale wet infrastructure
• Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSewer, WaterGems, SewerGems, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS, etc.
• Professional accreditation (Chartership/PE or equivalent) from internationally recognised engineering institutions such as ICE, CIWEM, Engineer Australia, etc., or working towards it

Contract duration: 6 months and extendable
