Description:

A leading Oil & Gas project in the UAE is seeking qualified Instrument Technicians to support instrumentation operations and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of field equipment.

Candidates with previous experience in drilling or drilling rig environments will be preferred. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commitment to safety standards, and the ability to perform maintenance activities while following HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation equipment used in Oil & Gas operations.

• Perform inspections and maintenance activities on field instruments to ensure reliable system performance.

• Support safe and efficient operations by following HSE procedures and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical or industrial qualification.

• Experience as an Instrument Technician in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Drilling or drilling rig experience is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with instrumentation installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Experience with transmitters, control valves, pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.

• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and safe working practices.

• Candidates currently available in the UAE will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Industrial instrumentation systems and field devices.

• Calibration procedures and troubleshooting techniques.

• Oil & Gas safety standards and maintenance practices.
