What You’ll Do As a Data Analyst
Data Collection and Preparation:
- Gathering data from various sources, ensuring data quality, and cleaning/transforming it for analysis.
Data Analysis:
- Applying statistical methods and techniques to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
Data Visualization:
- Creating clear and concise visualizations (charts, graphs, etc.) to present findings and insights to stakeholders.
Reporting and Communication:
- Communicating findings and recommendations in a clear and understandable manner, often through reports and presentations.
Problem-Solving:
- Identifying problems, analyzing data to understand root causes, and suggesting solutions.
Data Modeling:
- Building and maintaining data models to support business processes and decision-making.
Data Mining:
- Extracting valuable information from large datasets.
What You’ll Need
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Wireless Experience: Previous experience in the wireless industry preferred.
- Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
- Data Visualization Skills: Proficiency in creating effective data visualizations.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Permitting/Leasing: Experience with jurisdictions, permitting or leasing a plus.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and decision-making.
Tools And Technologies
- Excel: Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization.
- Power Point/Visio: Slide presentation software.
- Data Visualization Tools: Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualization software.
