Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor required

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs to determine project materials and labour requirements.
• Use quantity take-offs to assist in cost estimation and budgeting processes
• Apply standard methods of measurement for quantity surveying tasks.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure costs are kept within the agreed budget.
• Analyze and evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring adherence to FIDIC conditions.
• Apply FIDIC conditions of contract as applicable in the UAE.
• Administer contracts and manage contract changes, variations, and claims.
• Conduct regular financial reviews of projects, preparing interim valuations and final accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors,suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all project costs, contracts, and correspondence.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as MRICS or equivalent are advantageous Experience
• At least 5 to 7 years of quantity surveying experience, focusing on building projects.
