Description:
A leading company is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer – Supervision to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building services, residential projects, and site supervision with a proven ability to manage electrical works according to project requirements and industry standards.
The selected candidate will oversee site activities, review technical documents, coordinate with authorities, and ensure electrical installations comply with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards. Candidates with Abu Dhabi project supervision experience and immediate availability are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Attend project meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Liaise with local authorities including TAQA (ADDC), ADM, ADCD, and other relevant departments.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Identify site issues and provide technical recommendations for resolution.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of UAE experience in building services.
• Mandatory Abu Dhabi project supervision experience.
• Strong experience with residential building projects.
• Candidates must currently be available in the UAE.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Electrical systems and building services supervision.
• Shop drawings, material approvals, and technical specifications.
• Testing, commissioning, and authority coordination procedures.
