Description:

SBG is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Accountant.

Designation: Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and review all the invoices and payment certificates along with supporting documents and posting the same into accounting data base.
• Reconciling the Suppliers ledger to trace out any discrepancy and account for the discrepancies highlighted.
• Prepare cash flow and PDC on monthly basis for upcoming supplier’s payments by coordinating with procurement department and accounts receivable.
• Assist in monthly closing by passing the adjusting and provision entry regarding depreciation, gratuity and leave salary.
• Perform depreciation calculation for all fixed assets and Maintain Fixed Asset Document for Old assets as well new assets
• Assist and post with reviewing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of petty cash, expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports as per management instructions.
• Assist reporting manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and Assist with other accounting projects.
• Assist in the preparing of financial statements according to the International Financial Reporting Standards and statutory guidelines prevailing in the country.
• Assist in preparation and filing of VAT return as per the UAE Value Added Tax regulations
