Responsibilities include:
- Analysing local market trends, outbound travel trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators and OTA’s in the GCC
- Develop new customer accounts and leads within the GCC to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
- Negotiate room rates/packages with travel agents, tour operators and OTA’s in the GCC for the specific hotel/cluster
- Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
- Negotiate contracts between the specific hotel/ cluster and travel agents/tour operators/OTA’s in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
- Work within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
- Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
