Dubai UAE, is hiring for below Position:

Project Manager (Civil) – Minimum 8 years’ experience in Engineering & Construction.

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager has overall responsibility for delivering a project on time, within budget and according to Intermass QHSE quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Responsibility for HSE performance of the project, and compliance with applicable HSE legislation.
• Develops and maintains the methodology and strategy set for the project, with regular follow up meetings with internal and external parties (e.g. subcontractors) includes mobilization, method statement, engineering and procurement logs and control sheets.
• Prepares target program and method statement for main subcontractors (e.g. MEP, aluminium and lifts) in coordination with Construction Manager, Quality, HSE and Planning Engineers. Reviews manpower histogram on regular basis to meet target.
• Controls project costs including subcontractors’ progress against contract values and submits to Cost Engineer for review. Ensures cost of project does not exceed the budget by controlling Cost to Complete (CTC) activity, and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR).
• Manages project administration including correspondence, method statements and produces timely and correct labour and CTC / CVR cost reports.
• Reviews monthly payment and final payment claims and submits to Contract Manager for review. Ensures payments to subcontractors and suppliers are made according to the terms.
• Reviews progress against specifications and the conditions of contract. Approves progress reports and submits to the client / consultant as per the requirement.
• Coordinates with Plant Engineer and Safety Engineer to ensure that all equipment is maintained in good condition and prevents failures which would result in project delays. Ensures the safety of the personnel.
• Coordinates with relevant parties for systems commissioning and project handover.
• Responsible for project Risk and Opportunity identification and management process.
• Sound knowledge and ability to use EDMS e.g. Oracle Fusion, Aconex, PM Web, etc, for daily communication and management of project documentation and communications.
