Description:
Hiring Logistic & Customs Clearance Coordinator for a Group company which is located in National Industries Park – Jabel Ali, Dubai. Reporting will be to General Manager. Below are some of the responsibilities but not restricted.
Responsibilities
- To monitor Air/Sea Import and/or Export shipments of clients with Airline/DNATA and ensure freight has arrived on time in Dubai as per schedule.
 - To coordinate with Category Managers regarding freight clearance instruction, type of Bill of Entry and prepare documentation ready for Custom Clearance.
 - To ensure on line Bill of Entries are processed on time and priority given as per request.
 - To ensure all Required Documents e.g. hard copy, Invoice/packing list are received in Original and are notified accordingly.
 - To ensure standing Guarantee for Re-exports shipments and Invoice deposits payments are settled with customs in timely manner.
 - Handle all inspection with customs and executed of AWB
 - Handle all Exit/Entry Certificates and handed over and closed with customs.
 - To maintain quality Service while dealing with queries/discrepancies with internal and External Customer.
 
Requirements
- Experience in Dubai Municipality Clearance (Food Items) – Mandatory
 - A minimum of 3 years UAE shipping clearance experience.
 - A Bachelor’s Degree or any advance or related courses.
 - Good knowledge with customs clearance and documentation procedures.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Good customer service and presentation skills.
 - Good analytical and decision making skills.
 - Flexibility and punctuality.
 - Competency in MS Office.
