Description:
British Orchard Nursery is seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse to become part of its dedicated team. This opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of young children in a nurturing educational environment.
The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and healthy nursery setting while providing professional nursing care, promoting child wellbeing, and working closely with staff, children, and parents. Previous experience in a nursery or early years environment will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional nursing care and first aid to children when required.
• Monitor and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children within the nursery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
• Respond promptly to medical situations and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and management regarding children’s health needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Support health awareness initiatives and wellness programs within the nursery.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• DHA Registered Nurse License or DHA Eligibility Letter.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills with young children.
• Compassionate, caring, and professional attitude.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of:
• Pediatric and general nursing practices
• Health, safety, and infection control procedures
• Medical documentation and emergency response
