Description:
National Catering Services & Foodstuff is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join its procurement team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, and maintaining smooth supply chain operations within a fast-paced catering environment.
This position requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to handle procurement tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with company standards. The selected candidate will contribute directly to optimizing purchasing processes and maintaining quality and cost control across all procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement activities including sourcing, ordering, and supplier coordination

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Ensure cost control and compliance with procurement policies
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely purchase requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years UAE experience in procurement or purchasing
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good knowledge of UAE supplier market and pricing trends
• Experience with LPOs, quotations, and comparison reports
• Strong analytical and cost-control abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
