Description:

Jetons General Contracting LLC is actively looking to hire a skilled and results-driven Procurement Specialist with solid experience in trading within the construction industry. This role is ideal for professionals who are well-versed in sourcing construction materials, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-effective procurement strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete procurement cycle while also handling trading activities to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full procurement process for construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, and concrete products

• Source, assess, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable contractual terms

• Handle bulk purchasing and trading operations with a focus on maximizing cost savings and profitability

• Monitor market trends and fluctuations in material prices to support strategic procurement decisions

• Prepare RFQs, review supplier quotations, and issue LPOs in compliance with company procedures

• Coordinate closely with project and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while tracking their performance

• Ensure all procured materials meet quality standards and project specifications

• Maintain proper documentation for all procurement and trading transactions

• Proven experience in procurement, particularly with trading exposure in the construction sector
