Hiring Junior Financial Accountant

Dubai – Marina Plaza

Roles and responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

• Recording all sales and purchase invoices appropriately
• Timely booking of payment vouchers and processing payables in online banking
• Liaise internally with business heads and administrators for AR/ AP transactions
• Preparing GL reconciliations, month-end accruals, provisions etc.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
• All other duties as assigned by Senior Accountant or Financial Controller

Financial Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing
• Adherence to company SOPs and DOA
• Streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in IT and transformation projects as and when required,

Compliance and Audit:

• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing requirements, and other statutory obligations.

Qualifications, skills & knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting
• ACA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent (Part-qualified at least)
• 2-3 years of prior experience in relevant industries
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of IFRS, IAS
