Description:
Star Services is seeking an experienced Admin & Procurement Specialist to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role combines administrative coordination with procurement responsibilities and is suited to a professional who can manage vendors, negotiate effectively, and support smooth purchasing and office operations.
The successful candidate should have relevant UAE experience and be comfortable working with suppliers, procurement systems, and administrative processes. Candidates with backgrounds in facilities management, accommodation, logistics, or procurement will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day administrative and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations and manage purchasing requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery conditions with vendors.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase documents, and supplier information.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Support administrative operations and coordinate with internal departments.
• Use ERP or procurement systems to process and track purchasing activities.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure procurement procedures are followed.
• Assist with vendor evaluation and supplier relationship management.
Requirements:
• Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant Administration or Procurement experience.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence and own vehicle are required.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience in facilities, accommodation, logistics, or procurement is an advantage.
• ERP or procurement system experience is a plus.
• Mandarin Chinese and/or Arabic language skills are an advantage.
