IPCO GROUP is announcing for the following Job Vacancy.

Position : Electrical Engineer .

• Job Reference : 2ELC02.
• Required Experience: UAE experience 8 Years +

Job Description.

• Monitoring the Electrical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
• Prepration for all related engineering LOGs for processing engineering phase on the project .
• Reviewing, and processing all Electrical shopdrawings, Electrical technical submittals. Method of statement, raising RFI’s related to Electrical scope of works.
• Processing all Electrical shopdrawings approvals for ADDC and related authorities tell final power connections. Applicant must have very good knowledge in ADDC process.
• Coordinating and supervising the work of all electrical and MEP activities and operations.
• Reviewing sub contractor’s Electrical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to MEP PM.
• Liaison with the necessary consultants.
• Reviewing sub contractors claims related to Electrical works and preparing recommendations for claims.
• Reviewing the sub contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.
• Managing the Electrical inspections for subcontractors and inhowse team work.
• Analyzing laboratory and testing reports.
• Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Electrical works.
• Signing off on completed Electrical works with completed documentation.
• Perform all other duties given by MEP PM.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Eight ( 6 ) years total experience with Four (4) years in Construction Administration in abu Dhabi
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering , equalization from UAE , QCC Approved will be preferred
• Strong technical background.
• Excellent knowledge of Electrical systems, products and materials.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable Electrical design and construction codes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solutions (Excel, Word).
• Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.
• Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements.
• Complete project understanding in a given discipline, from start to hand-over.
