Title: Cost Accountant
Reports To: Costing Manager
Location: King Abdullah Economic City KAEC
Salary range: 9,000 – 12,000
Responsible for analyzing and recording costs related to production and manufacturing operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data related to costs, and providing periodic reports to the Costing manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze financial data related to costs.
- Prepare monthly and annual cost reports.
- Monitor actual costs versus estimated costs and identify variances.
- Work on the SAP system to manage financial data.
- Provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze financial performance reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in cost accounting in industrial companies.
- Good knowledge of the SAP system.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards.
