Hiring Cost Accountant

Key accountabilities:

• Monitoring unit cost variance
• Implementing cost standards for materials, Labor, Machine and Overheads
• Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports.
• Analyzing manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization
• Performing month-end cost accounting close
• Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger
• Analyzing inventory valuations
• Preparing all inventory-related journal entries at month end
• Defining various product and operational costs
• Product Costing
• Assist with other accounting projects.
• Perform work safely to protect yourself and others from injury, by avoiding any behavior that puts yourself or others at risk.
• Follow company’s food safety, environmental and occupational health and safety policy and practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience as Cost Accountant with minimum of 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Data Entry Management
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Deadline-Oriented
