Description:

Hiring System Administrator- Distributed Computing Infrastructure

Location: On-site, Dubai

Duration: One Year (extendable depends on business requirement)

Division/Department/Unit: Distributed & Emerging Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and verify the requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility for infrastructure and projects requirement as per the standards.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Tier-II, Tier-III, Tier-IV, Data Protection infrastructure hardware and storage operating systems.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Backup Applications & Virtual infrastructure on premise.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Backup Applications & Cloud infrastructure on MS Azure
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Tier-IV Archival storage.
• Coordinates with vendor software or hardware support to resolve system problems.
• Upgrade server hardware, infrastructure software, and operating systems.
• Provide trend analyses to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
• Analyze and verify the requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and as per the standards.
• Upgrade storage hardware, infrastructure software, and its operating systems.
• Designs, implements, and perform Storage hardening.
• Good Understanding in using MS AZURE and Oracle Cloud Services including Computing, Networking, Database, Storage, Monitoring, and Security services.
• Transitioning new technical projects and ensuring smooth go-live for Cloud Operations
• Analyze project requirements to develop technical architecture of the solution being deployed.
• Perform project management role for all Infrastructure related projects to ensure the IT assets are always adequate for business growth strategies.
• Maintain a complete inventory of IT assets and keep a track of any technologies becoming obsolete.
• Performing technical research on optimal designing for effective utilization of resources, process improvements, and technical enhancements including optimization, consolidations, and automation.
• Identifying and analyzing processes, procedures, work practice and document them for standard operations.
• All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.
• Education: Bachelor of Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience with designing, deploying and supporting varied platforms of IT Infrastructure
• Storage, backup and Cloud architecture, Design and Integration
• Sound Knowledge of MS Azure & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and services
