Description:

Hiring for the position of Product Designer/Prototype Development in Dubai, UAE

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
• Creating a virtual prototype through 3D modeling software.
• Fabricating and assembling the prototype using additive and subtractive processes.
• Integrating the prototype with required software App, Website, Database, or any required software
• Identify new product improvement opportunities.
• Prototyping and ability to make changes and testing before the chosen final product.
• Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.
• Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.
• Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
• Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences.
• Work closely with product teams to suggest improvements for products and processes.
• Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Must be familiar with project management and product design methodology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wire framing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Mastering CAD/3D modelling software i.e. Solid Works, Inventor, AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max. Knowledge in Rhino, Blender, Cinema 4D is preferred.
• Strong skills is Arduino, embedded systems, IoT, communication protocols, etc.
• Deep understanding of emerging market for LPWA services and applications
• Subject Matter Expert in IoT Software platform, sensors/device, and protocols
• Go-To-Market solution sales for NB-IoT vertical industries
• Expertise in IoT Fixed and Wireless networks requirements (WSN) 8) Understanding Smart City business and customer requirements
• Designing Business Architecture models for Smart City opportunities
• Interface experience with R&D departments
• Proven experience in additive manufacturing, CNC, and digital fabrication.
• Previous experience with rapid prototyping technology.
• Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
