Description:
American Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Consultant – Cardiac ICU to join its multidisciplinary critical care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified consultant specializing in cardiac critical care to work within one of Dubai’s leading private healthcare institutions.
The successful candidate will provide advanced care for critically ill cardiac and post-operative cardiothoracic patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultant-level care for patients in the Cardiac Critical Care and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage complex cardiac, post-operative, and critically ill patients using evidence-based clinical practices.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in treatment planning, patient monitoring, and critical care decision-making.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and quality of care.
• Support medical education, professional development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
• American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Tier 1 qualification.
• Strong experience in Cardiac Critical Care or Cardiothoracic Intensive Care.
• Proven expertise in managing complex cardiac and post-operative critical care patients.
• Eligibility for DHA licensing.
