What’s in Store
We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Loss Control Reviewer who will be responsible for reviewing and billing Loss Control Inspections, while ensuring they have met all Davies quality control standards, customer specific requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Reviews loss control field, virtual desktop, and phone inspections performed and submitted by independent contractors and employees
- Work to develop the operations Independent Contractors (IC’s) by providing technical help and clear information through direct communication with the ICs in a prompt manner through return notes and emails
- Independently determines if each inspection addresses the Davies quality review requirements
- Reviews and interprets inspections to make sure they meet specific customer requirements
- Reviews time charges to make sure the work shown is consistent with the time charged to the client. Independently determines if additional time is approved
- Reviews as efficiently as possible to meet production expectations while maintaining quality
- Communicate positive encouragement, consultation, and support to ICs within operations and the review teams
- Make final decisions on accuracy of inspections for submission to client
- Coordinating with Evaluation department to ensure replacement cost estimations are done properly and within tolerance or explained otherwise

- Perform other payroll and accounting duties as assigned
This role is a full-time, home-based position.
Your Expertise, Skills, And Abilities
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 3-5 years of related experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and can learn other computer programs quickly
- Ability to understand advanced Risk Management principles with the ability to properly apply recommendations based upon coverages requested
- Proven ability to perform field surveys of items reviewed at a proficient level with minimal errors or equivalent experience or training
- Proactive, independent, and takes initiative with consistent follow through
- Superb communication skills, verbal and written, conducted in a timely manner
- Superior time management skills with capability of working with and meeting deadlines
- Possess the ability to thrive in a faced-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent team player with interpersonal skills
- High level attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Capable of working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
