Description:
A leading Glass & Aluminum and Façade Contracting company in Dubai is looking to hire an experienced Accountant to strengthen its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with solid UAE accounting experience who are familiar with the financial processes of the construction and engineering industry.
The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, manage VAT compliance, and prepare financial reports. Applicants with strong analytical skills, accounting software expertise, and relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting activities and financial operations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger balancing.
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
• Handle VAT accounting, filing, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and financial regulations.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in construction, contracting, engineering, glass & aluminum, or façade companies is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE will be given preference.
